Leute! Ich habe gerade etwas gelesen, was mich traf, wie ein Schlag: Jack Tramiel ist tot! Der Gründer von Commodore Business Machines (CBM) starb dieses Jahr am Ostersonntag in Monte Sereno in Kalifornien.

Jack Tramiel zeichnete sich verantwortlich für so wegweisende Computer, wie den Commodore PET, den V(I)C20, C64 und den Atari ST. Durch seine Entscheidung, preiswerte Computer anzubieten, öffnete er den Markt für die breite Masse und machte Commodore zu einem Synonym, welches bis heute Bestand hat.

Oh Gott, ohne ihn wäre die Szene heute nicht so wie sie ist (Fuck Nintendo!). Der C64 wird immer ein Kultobjekt bleiben!
